These instructions are only necessary if your original image considerably exceeds 500 pixels wide or high. If the image is smaller than that, then this is not necessary!

First, click this link to go to [MyImager.com]

[1] The link above should open in the "File : Open" page, but if it did not, then use the first pull down menu on the left (File) to "Open".

[2] Click "Browse" to navigate to the photo on your own system that you want to resize. When it is found, select it then click "Upload";

[3] Next use the second pull down (Edit) to "Resize". When the new menu displays:
   - click "Yes" to maintain aspect ratio
   - put the new size for "Width"  or  "Height" to 500 (use one or the other, not both -- put the 500 in whichever dimension is currently the largest on your photo).
   - keep the quality setting as high as possible
   - click submit & be patient!

[4] When the resized image is displayed, right-click on it with your mouse and pull down to "Save Picture As". When the box opens, re-name the image (if necessary) and select a folder on your harddrive for saving.
